About Me
MY BACKGROUND
Dear Early Childhood Families,
My name is Samantha Stout and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. This year is new for all of us, but I could not be more excited to start, and look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces! I would love to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in La Crosse, WI. I have an Early Childhood Major and a Special Education minor from UW-Stout, and my Masters in Education from the UW-La Crosse Professional Learning Community. This will be my 6th year teaching. I live here in La Crosse with my boyfriend Nick, and our three dogs: Louie, Rosie, and Roma. In my free time, I love being outside, especially swimming! I also love spending time with friends and family.
I am so excited to be working directly with you and your child’s IEP team. Together we can give him/her the best opportunity to learn and grow, whether your child is coming in for therapy and direct service in the morning Early Childhood program, or receiving inclusive support through the afternoon team taught preschool program. Together we can assure that they are receiving social and emotional development, as well as motor, adaptive, language, and those ever-important readiness skills in an environment that everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected. We will be in continuous contact throughout the school year in the forms of: daily communication sheets, progress monitoring on IEP goals, and our annual IEP meetings. You are an integral part of these, as you know your child best! So please don't hesitate to reach out to me on questions or concerns you are having at any time. Please utilize this website to find activities, important information, and to see what we are up to in Early Childhood!
Thank you so much, and let’s have a great school year!

Sincerely,
Ms. Stout
